"IBUKI" captures Typhoon Ma-on approaching Japan
The Greenhouse gases Observing SATellite "IBUKI" (GOSAT) captured a powerful typhoon, Typhoon Ma-on, moving over the southern sea of Shikoku Island in Japan. The image was made from the data acquired by an imaging sensor installed on "IBUKI," the Cloud and Aerosol Imager (TANSO-CAI).
