During the break time of the main session, Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) and our institute, National Institute for Environmental Studies, Japan (NIES) jointly held a short lecture session at the booth of Japan. Dr. Hibiki Noda from NIES gave a presentation on GOSAT and GOSAT-2. Surprisingly, “JAPAN GEO” was the only booth where researchers talked positively to visitors about their own research activities. Many questions were given from the audience and this turned out to be a very good experience for us.
