The FTS SWIR Level 3 Data Products
(Global Distribution of XCO2 and XCH4)
Released to the General Users.

Starting November 30, 2010, the FTS SWIR Level 3 data products (global distribution of XCO2 and XCH4) are available to the general users through the GOSAT DATA Archive Service. The FTS SWIR Level 3 data products are derived from the FTS SWIR Level 2 data products that have been available to the public since February 2010. The FTS SWIR Level 2 data product is CO2 and CH4 column amounts, which were retrieved by analyzing the Short Wavelength InfraRed (SWIR) of radiance spectrum data (Level 1B data) obtained by "IBUKI" 's main instrument, the Fourier Transform Spectrometer (TANSO-FTS). The FTS SWIR Level 3 data product also includes the estimated results of areas where no observational data were available. This time, the FTS SWIR Level 3 data products of the observation period between April 2009 and September 2010 are released.
