For the first time this year, yellow sand was observed on March 28, 2018 in Sapporo and Wakkanai, Japan.
On March 28 and 29, 2018, the Cloud and Aerosol Imager (CAI) onboard the Greenhouse Gases Observing SATellite (GOSAT) "IBUKI" observed the appearance of dust over Japan Sea.
The yellow to yellow green color in the image shows yellow sand.
